Lunch, Walks, and Ice Cream – A Perfect Day at Jervaulx Abbey and Brymor!

Today was one of those perfect days full of history, stunning views, and indulgent treats! We started our adventure at Jervaulx Abbey – a beautiful, peaceful spot where we enjoyed a lovely lunch and a leisurely walk around the ruins. The Abbey itself is such a serene place, and the surrounding countryside just adds to the charm. There’s something magical about wandering through the remnants of such a historic building while soaking in the breath-taking views.

After soaking up the history, we popped round the corner to Brymor Ice Cream – and let’s just say, we may have overdone it with the ice cream (is there such a thing, though?!). Double scoops might’ve been a bit much, but hey, when in Yorkshire! The ice cream was absolutely amazing. 🍦

To top it off, we managed to catch a glimpse of the local Cricket Club, which added a bit of local charm to our day. All in all, a fantastic outing – history, nature, and ice cream, what more could you ask for? #JervaulxAbbey #BrymorIceCream #PerfectDay #CricketAndIceCream
