We travelled to Dalgety Bay today to visit Dad. The original plan was to enjoy a picnic at Silver Sands beach, but it was absolutely packed when we arrived. So, we changed course and headed back to the Bay — and what a good decision that turned out to be!

We found a lovely spot on the beach for our picnic. The sun was shining, our feet dipped into the freezing water, and we had fun building sandcastles. Simple joys, but so memorable.

Afterwards, we headed back to Dad’s for a bit, then went out for dinner — steak and chips followed by Eton Mess for pudding. Delicious!

All in all, it was a beautiful day in the sunshine, full of laughter, good food, and family time.
