We’ve got something big to celebrate in the family today—David (aka Dad!) has officially published his book, The Risen God!
After months (okay, years!) of writing, rewriting, and pouring his heart into this story, it’s finally out in the world. We couldn’t be prouder of him and all the hard work he’s put into making this dream a reality.
Here’s David’s message on publication day:
Planned a sweet little outing today—nothing big, just one of those feel-good afternoons. We took a relaxed stroll through Queen’s Park, soaking up the spring air, spotting the first signs of flowers blooming, and letting the pace slow down a bit.
So I stepped out of my comfort zone with my latest read! I usually stick to crime or romance, but I decided to give my husband’s new fantasy book a try—and I’m so glad I did! It’s not my usual genre, but I found myself getting pulled into the world and turning pages to see where the adventure would lead next.
I’ll admit, I got a little confused at times with all the characters (there were quite a few!), but it didn’t stop me from enjoying the ride. I’m already looking forward to book 2!

Happy 13th birthday to our car-obsessed, football-mad bundle of mischief, Oliver! Time really does fly, and it feels like just yesterday we were celebrating your 10th birthday. Where does the time go? You’ve grown so much, and we couldn’t be prouder of the person you’re becoming.
Here’s to many more years of fun, laughter, and, of course, your love for cars and football! Enjoy every moment of being a teenager — we can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings for you. Happy Birthday again, our favourite mischief-maker!

Oliver had an outstanding cup game today! His team led 1-0 at halftime, and Oliver scored the crucial goal to level it at 2-2, sending the match to penalties. The tension was high, but Oliver stepped up in the shootout and scored, helping secure the win for his team. It was such an emotional game, full of incredible teamwork and camaraderie from the boys — one of those moments you just know they’ll remember forever!
Lewis also put in an awesome performance, showing great effort and determination, even though his team fell to a 5-2 defeat. His energy and spirit were top-notch, and we couldn’t be prouder of his performance!

After feeling unwell for an entire week, I finally managed to step outside for a refreshing walk today. It was such a delightful change, and honestly, the fresh air did wonders for lifting my spirits! Sometimes, all you need is a little stroll to remind you of the simple joys in life.

16 years ago, our world completely changed when Alexander came into our lives. How time flies! You are the most wonderful gift we’ve ever received, and every day with you has been a treasure.
Happy birthday to the person who made us parents. We’ve had our ups and downs, countless laughs, tears, and so many precious memories along the way. we are beyond proud of the young man you’ve become.
What an amazing night we had at the Tartan Army Children’s Charity (TACC) Ball last night! We were surrounded by great friends, fantastic music, and a whole lot of dancing. The Brammers – Wedding & Function Band had everyone up on their feet with their incredible tunes, creating a perfect atmosphere for a night to remember.
21 years of togetherness, 21 years of happiness, and 21 years of making dreams come true. We’ve been through so much together, and every moment has made our bond stronger. You are not only my amazing husband but my best friend, my rock, and the love of my life.
Through all the ups and downs, the laughter and tears, I am so grateful for every day spent with you. You’ve made my life so incredibly beautiful, and I look forward to many more years of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories with you.

Early start this morning with a trip to Paisley for Oliver’s football match, and what a match it was! After a solid win there, we headed back for Lewis’ game, and guess what? Another win! 2 wins from 2 – couldn’t have asked for a better start to the weekend. 👏
Both boys played brilliantly, and the excitement in the air was contagious. It’s always so rewarding to see their hard work and teamwork pay off on the pitch. Now, it’s time to celebrate their victories!

We all had a great night last night celebrating our friend Scott’s birthday with a fun house party! Lots of laughs, music, and good times with some of our favorite people. Nothing beats a night filled with great energy and even better company. Happy Birthday, Scott!

Today was extra special as we celebrated two amazing milestones!
First, we celebrated Alexander’s fantastic exam results! All his hard work paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of him. Watching him reach this achievement has been such a joy, and we can’t wait to see all the great things he will do in the future. Well done, Alexander, this is just the beginning of your journey!
Later, we enjoyed a wonderful anniversary meal to mark another year of love and togetherness. It was a beautiful evening, filled with laughter, great food, and unforgettable memories. Grateful for every moment spent with the love of my life.
