Today, we had the chance to explore the HMS Defender, which was docked at Govan, and the best part? The tours were completely free! We were lucky enough to book tickets for the very first tour at 10am.

Despite the rain, wind, and freezing temperatures, we didn’t let the weather put a damper on our plans. We bundled up and made our way on board, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The tour was incredibly informative, and we had a great time exploring the ship, learning about its history, and seeing all the different areas up close.

It was definitely a unique and exciting way to spend the day. A big thumbs up for the HMS Defender tour – despite the weather, it was an adventure we’ll always remember!

What a special day! Today, we got to meet our beautiful niece, Sophie, for the very first time. We are absolutely in love with her already! 💕

It feels so surreal to finally be Auntie Lyndsey and Uncle David. The boys are over the moon about being big cousins, and they can’t wait to teach Sophie all the things they know. It’s such a joy to see their excitement and love for her already.

We spent a lovely afternoon together, filled with cuddles, laughter, and pure happiness. There’s nothing quite like family, and today was one of those moments that makes all the chaos and busyness of life fade away.

A very happy 7th birthday to our wonderful, mischievous boy, Oliver! You make Mummy and Daddy so proud every single day. You’ve brought so much laughter and joy into our lives, and even though you’re the cheeky one, we love you more than words can say.

The day started with a flurry of excitement as Oliver opened all of his presents, but the big one—the one he had been waiting for—was his new bike. He couldn’t wait to open it, but had to hold out until David got home from work. His face when he saw it was priceless!

For dinner, Oliver had the choice of going out to celebrate or staying in for pizza and a movie. Naturally, pizza won the vote! We opted for Domino’s (Oliver’s favourite), and settled in for a cosy night with Captain Underpants as the chosen film. It was the perfect way to round off a day full of excitement, fun, and love.
